ASPA Maryland is the Maryland Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA). Since 1939, ASPA has been the nation's most respected society representing all forums in the public service arena. ASPA is committed to the advancement of excellence in public service. With over 10,000 members, ASPA promotes recognition of public service, develops a substantive dialogue on current issues and enhances the professional development of its membership.
Each year ASPA Maryland honors innovators and innovative programs in Maryland at the Annual Maryland Public Service Innovations in Government Conference and Awards. The awards are presented in three categories: Local Agency Category, State Agency Category and State Individual Category.
